The figure to the left shows the label of an LED light bulb, measured in intensity by lumens rather than watts. As seen, lumens have a light intensity equivalent to or better than the common incandescent light bulb, a longer life expectancy, lower energy cost to use, and demand less energy - only requiring 13 watts of energy (3).
