Windows are one of the main sources of heat loss in a home during the cold seasons, allowing cold air into the home and pulling warm air out. Window inserts help prevent this heat loss by insulating the window and blocking the passage way for cold/warm air transference.
Window Inserts offer an inexpensive alternative to window replacement and can be re-used year after year. Inserts help reduce heating costs, fossil fuel consumption, and CO2 emissions by minimizing heat loss through windows - thus, reducing energy use. WindowDressers provides high quality locally sourced White Pine framed window inserts, at an affordable price; 22% of which are donated by the organization to low-income homes each year.

Multiple homes in Unity and the surrounding area have signed up to receive window inserts before winter begins. In order for them to receive their inserts we need volunteers to help with the assembly of them.
